Enabling Notifications on the App
Upon opening your district's app for the first time, you may see a prompt asking whether you allow Notifications. It is important that you Allow Notifications so that you can be notified when teachers post Announcements or send you Messages!
When you receive Notifications from Rooms, it will appear similar to how a text message or social media alert appears on your phone. Tapping on the Notification will open Rooms and navigate to that specific content.
If you initially clicked Don't Allow, or would like to confirm that Notifications are enabled, you'll need to open your phone's Settings app-
On iOS:
Settings > District App Name > Notifications > Allow Notifications
On Android:
Settings > Notifications > App Settings > District App Name
